Day 6 | Rio de Janeiro – City Tour of Rio de Janeiro Today after breakast, enjoy a guided morning city tour of Rio visiting downtown area, passing by the Financial and Business Center and other attractions such as the City Palace, Candelaria Church, Saint Sebastian Cathedral, Lapa Arches, Municipal Theatre, National Library, Fine Arts Museum, and by the Samba Rome, site of Rio’s famous Carnival Parade. Day 7 | Rio de Janeiro – Corcovado Mountain & Tijuca Rain Forest After breakfast, enjoy visit the Tijuca Rain Forest Tour, the best way to spend half a day, discovering the wonderfully exuberant ecosystems of Rio de Janeiro’s tropical urban jungle. This tour will give you a fabulous chance to spot some of the unexpected and colorful flora and fauna living right in the middle of the city of Rio in the stunning Tijuca Rainforest. During this in the city of Rio de Janeiro you will be amazed you by the diverse nature and wildlife that lives hidden away in this urban paradise. After lunch we head to Cosme Velho Station to board a cog-train for a 20 minute scenic ride through Tijuca Forest up Corcovado Mountain. Disembarking at the top of Corcovado we then proceed up the steps that lead to the top lookout where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands.
